Objective
The objective of the project was to develop an ergonomic frame for modern personal body armor systems. The primary task was to create a lightweight yet strong structure that forms a ventilation gap between the wearer's body and the main cover of the body armor.
Process
To achieve the objective, a full cycle of design work was carried out. The process included analysis of existing analogs, development of a unique concept, and its detailed elaboration in CAD software. Three-dimensional modeling of the frame was performed using surface modeling tools to create complex, anatomically precise geometry. Special attention was given to the material — the structure was designed for casting from resilient yet durable polyurethane.
Result
The project resulted in a production-ready 3D model of the ventilation frame.
