Objective
As part of a team effort, the task was to design and develop the structure of a gantry machine for automating a production process. The project aimed to replace manual labor in applying glue to synthetic padding, thereby increasing productivity and ensuring consistently high product quality in furniture manufacturing.
Tasks
A full cycle of design work was carried out to achieve the objective. At the initial stage, the team studied existing design solutions, which enabled the development of an optimal concept and layout for the machine, adapted to the specific production conditions. The main stage involved creating a detailed three-dimensional model of the entire installation and its assemblies in Autodesk Inventor CAD software, as well as performing the necessary engineering calculations to verify the strength and operability of the structure.
Result
The project deliverable was a complete set of working engineering documentation and a digital prototype of the industrial installation, delivered as a turnkey solution.
